From Junko ( Teacher )

"I have volunteered for Nagasaki International Associations for more than 10 years with people from around the world who possess the same passion and objective as I do for helping people.
Here at WAHAHA, I want to cherish each relationship developed with each person that I come into contact with."

From Kim ( Event Coordinator )

"Hi my name is Kim, and I am in charge of events, activities, and the schools Japanese culture program. I lived in America for about 5 years. Despite the fact that I had a difficult first year, considering I couldn't speak any English at all, with the guidance and help I received from the kind and generous people I came into contact with, and befriended, I was able to overcome the language barrier.
With this in mind, I really hope to be able to give you all the same opportunities, and advantages that I had while living abroad. Living in a new country different from what you are used to, is really exciting, but can sometimes be scary, but I promise you, here at WAHAHA, you will get the love, support, and guidance you need, to overcome anything!! Let's have fun!!!"

From Kiki

"Hello, this is Kiki from Taiwan. With deep fascination for Japanese Culture, I've travelled to Japan many times since I was 20. However, merely traveling was just not enough to satiate my enthusiasm for learning about Japans vast culture, history, and people! For that reason alone, I decided to live in Tokyo for a long period, finally getting to experience life in Japan first hand! While studying Japanese language, I did some traveling throughout the country, visiting many famous and scenic attractions. Convenient transportation, friendly people, and delicious food, all contributed to my wonderful experience. You can't deny the fact that the more you know about Japan, the more you love.  Japanese culture is so intricate and unlike any other, that it can not be defined in simple text! You must experience it first hand in order to completely understand it!.. So why don't you come join us at Wahaha and broaden your horizon! Come enjoy Japan, while learning about a new culture and language with some of the most welcoming, patient, knowledgeable teachers you'll ever meet, while making friends from all over the world along the way! Japan is truly a magical place! So what are you waiting for?? Come join us! After all, seeing is believing!"

Due to an active curiosity, I possess an interest in anything challenging and continually strive to broaden my horizons through the people I meet. While studying English in Canada, I taught calligraphy to high school students as a volunteer, and worked as an intern at the rehabilitation ward of St. Mary's Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. I enjoy calligraphy, flowers, and traveling abroad. I have many interests and am looking forward to chatting with you.
